The Pierre Mendès middle school and AJE share the same objective, namely the academic success of all students until integration into professional life.

The Pierre Mendès middle school and AJE are located in the same political territory of the city, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, more precisely the Fougères district, between the Portes de Bagnolet and Portes de Ménilmontant.This geographical proximity makes the partnership between the two organizations even easier.

This collaboration which takes place at the very heart of their school environment,

aims to support college students in difficulty, as well as those who are academically confident but in a situation of fragility or precarity.

Several actions are carried out with this establishment.

In particular, on Thursday mornings between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.,

two members of the team are present at the school to welcome

young people directed by educational advisors,

as well as their families during interviews with the Principal or

Vice Principal. This is also the time to meet teachers

informally and AES (educational and social support agents).

For example, this year a close collaboration was established with the classes of SEGPA. Volunteers provided assistance with professional orientation and the writing of curriculum vitae and cover letters. Some young people and their families have also chosen to benefit from school support in-person at the association as well as assistance in finding work placements.

Fortunately for all of us, there is this exceptional solidarity that springs up and gives us hope!
